Behind technology there are always people. Whurley is one of those brilliant technologists – or better – Evil Geniuses, who is also very human. I have to admit, I am honored to include the interesting story of such an inspirational person as Whurley. He is one of the entrepreneurs who can guide people to one single direction: innovation. In his impact quote he tells the difference between motion (could also be called “chaos”), like the process of doing something , and progress, which is motion that is oriented to reach a goal.
During his career, he has earned rights to prestigious accolades such as the IBM Master Inventor, IBM Pervasive Computing, Apple Design and LinuxWorld Magazine’s Top Leader in Open Source Business awards by inventing today’s leading technology standards in excellence. Whurley started his entrepreneurial career in 2000 with a peer-to-peer hiring system.
With 11 patents (and counting) and as co- founder of Chaotic Moon, iPhoneDevCamp, iPadDevCamp, iOSDevCamp and BarCampAustin, Whurley will use his longboard over the moon surface. For real. Read more>>
What I have learned from Whurley?
A lot. He really listens to people, and even his busy agenda, he always dedicates five minutes to anyone is interested to talk with him.
He said:
I wouldn’t be the person I am without the people around me.
Cooperation is the key to bring to results.
